Redskins pull an all-nighter

A Redskins source just sent me a text saying that director of football administration Eric Schaffer was the "unsung hero" in allowing the Redskins to land DeAngelo Hall and Albert Haynesworth in free agency. Schaffer has been the club's salary cap guru for the past five years.

I'm also told that head coach Jim Zorn and defensive coordinator Greg Blache were present when the deal with Haynesworth was finalized at about 5:30 a.m. ET.
