For now, it looks like Trent Williams will remain the Redskins' starter at left tackle despite the arrival of Pro Bowler Jammal Brown. And Williams, who recently fired his agent, Eugene Parker, isn't planning on an extended holdout.
"I can't guarantee that it won't be a minor holdout, but I guarantee it won't be more than a day if I do," Williams said. "They got me with the first group so I really can't afford to miss any practice. I stressed that to my agent and [we'll] see if we can get me to camp on time."
Something tells me Williams' new agent would rather his client not set any timetable for his signing day. By the way, Parker is the agent for Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. As far as I know, those two are still together.
