ESPNNewYork.com's Giants beat man Ohm Youngmisuk took a look at five things we should be watching from this team early in the 2010 season. Here's what Ohm wrote about the running game:
"Tom Coughlin wants the New York Giants to get back to running the ball," writes Youngmisuk. "After snapping a seven-year streak by failing to post a 1,000-yard rusher last season, the Giants will start Ahmad Bradshaw, with Brandon Jacobs cast as the change-of-pace back. The two are coming off surgeries in the offseason and are healthy. The Giants' offensive line is determined to return to its dominant form from two seasons ago and provide Eli Manning with a running game again."
And regarding that offensive line, an Eagles player told me Tuesday afternoon that he thought the Giants made a brilliant move in signing former Pro Bowl guard Shawn Andrews. Believe it or not, there are still a few folks in the Eagles organization who believe Andrews will be an elite player in the league.
