Philadelphia Eagles starting defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley will have surgery on his elbow and is likely out for the season, head coach Andy Reid said on his weekly radio show Monday. Also, Jason Peters has cartilage damage to knee. Reid was noncommital about who will start at quarterback against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
I'd be surprised if Michael Vick was ready to go, but you'd think he'd do everything in his power to start against his former team. With the way Kevin Kolb played last night, though, there's really no reason to rush Vick back onto the field. The loss of Bunkley will tough on the Eagles. They're fortunate that Trevor Laws has raised his level of play this season.
