The Tennessee Titans were interested in trading for defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth before Tuesday's deadline, but the Washington Redskins never pulled the trigger. Coach Mike Shanahan wanted a second-round draft pick for Haynesworth, according to the Washington Post.
We don't know what compensation the Titans were offering. Coach Jeff Fisher thinks the Skins are in a good place with the former All-Pro player.
"Clearly, Albert's situation has settled down there in Washington," Fisher told the The Tennessean. "He is under contract, and there was no interest in them as far as moving him is concerned."
