In the long term, Michael Boley's one-game suspension by the league isn't going to have an impact on whether the Giants make a run at the Super Bowl. What I'd be much more worried about with him is the hip injury. Here's what folks in New York are saying about Boley this morning:
Tom Rock of Newsday is reporting that the Giants knew that a suspension was likely when they signed Boley.
Here's what the New York Post had to say about the suspension.
Ralph Vacchiano took a break from vacation to cover the Boley story on his Blue Screen blog.
So, who starts for Boley in Week 1? Well, Gerris Wilkinson will be in the mix if he can somehow avoid the injuries that have hampered his promising career. And I think Chase Blackburn is also a candidate. We'll keep you posted.
