Romo and Garrett discuss offense

IRVING, Texas -- Quarterback Tony Romo spoke briefly to reporters following the Cowboys' 23-22 exhibition win over the Texans. He finished 15-of-19 for 166 yards and a touchdown. His biggest mistake was an interception in the end zone.

"I tried to fake the guy a little bit and he did a great job," Romo said. "He got underneath the ball. It's the preseason and you have to prove and try and get ready to go for the first week."

Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett talked about running back Marion Barber's performance. Barber had 13 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown against the Texans' first-team defense.

"He's a guy who brings so much energy to our team and everyone kind of rallies around him so obviously it was good to get him touches and he was really productive with them."
