Beast Prediction Friday

We do it every Friday during the season. Let's take a look at who the ESPN experts are picking in Saturday and Sunday's games, and then make our own predictions:

Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals: All eight experts are taking the Cowboys. Even our non-human panelists are riding the Jason Garrett bandwagon.

Mosley's prediction: Cowboys 35, Cardinals 13. I enjoyed John Skelton's work at Fordham, but he's not quite ready for prime time. DeMarcus Ware could have four or five sacks in this game.

Washington Redskins at Jacksonville Jaguars: Again, it was a clean sweep. Not a single panelist or machine chose the Skins. And that's after Rex Grossman dismantled the Cowboys' defense in the second half last Sunday.

Mosley prediction: Jaguars 27, Redskins 14. Washington will be missing starting outside linebacker Brian Orakpo and possibly both of its starting safeties. I just don't see the Shanahans pulling off an upset in this one.

New York Giants at Green Bay Packers: Only Mike Golic and Seth Wickersham picked the home team. Apparently the other six panelists think the Giants will be able to recover from last Sunday's collapse in the Meadowlands.

Mosley's prediction: Giants 24, Packers 17. I think Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora will batter quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who missed last Sunday's game with a concussion. Tom Coughlin does a really nice job rallying his team after tough losses. And this was as tough as they come.

Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles: This was another clean sweep for the voters and computers.

Mosley's prediction: Eagles 31, Vikings 13. I think the Eagles will show some rust early in this game, but they have too much firepower to lose to the Vikings.
