Ochocinco challenges Redskins players

I'm going to take a break from the Philadelphia Eagles coaching search to bring you some bizarre Washington Redskins "news." Apparently Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco saw Anthony Armstrong's 64-yard touchdown against the New York Giants in the final game of the season and decided to challenge him to a footrace.

Armstrong and Redskins rookie return phenom Brandon Banks had already been talking about racing each other for charity. Now, they've both asked Ochocinco, a man who once raced a horse in the offseason, to make it a three-man contest.

Matt Terl of the Redskins Blog has compiled all the tweets flying back and forth among the players. And to up the ante, Ochocinco has generously proposed a 200-meter race in which Armstrong will be allowed to pass the baton to Banks at the halfway mark.

If you're stuck in the office today, the tweets might serve as a nice little distraction. I'll let you know if the three players agree on a date and site for their race.
