I had to do a double take upon seeing Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder working Radio Row on Friday. We waved him over to the ESPN 103.3 table and he hopped right on.
Snyder said that new P.R. czar Tony Wylie has convinced him that he needs to do more media. He talked to the Washington beat writers Friday before heading over to join us on the radio. He spent most of the time poking fun at his good friend Jerry Jones' weather predicament. He kept referring to North Texas as "Fargo."
But when I playfully asked him who would be starting at quarterback for the Redskins next season, he had an interesting answer.
"Hopefully Donovan McNabb," said Snyder. "I like Donovan McNabb very much."
I don't think there's a chance in the world that McNabb starts at quarterback for the Redskins, but it's interesting that Snyder's still throwing it out there.
