Tuesday night, "SportsCenter's" one-hour preview of the NFC East aired on ESPN. In case you missed it, here's a bit with Marcellus Wiley and Damien Woody in which they offer some quick thoughts and make their predictions. Both of them picked the Philadephia Eagles, which I think is going to be a popular pick again this year in spite of the presence of the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. You know me, though. I think it's too early to make predictions, and I am holding off.
Woody also calls this "the best division in football," which is a nice compliment and all but meets with a strenuous challenge not just from Marcellus late in the video but from the troubling fact that only one of its teams finished above .500 last season. But like I said, nice compliment, and if that's the perception, that can only be good for the blog.
If you want to watch the whole one-hour special, you get three more chances over the next three nights, as follows:
Wednesday, July 4, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2
Thursday, July 5, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN
Friday, July 6, 9 p.m. ET, ESPN2
