Programming note: Weekend plans

I'm out of here, folks. Taking my kids to their first-ever Springsteen show tonight. They're all kinds of fired up, which means so am I. So you're not going to hear from me for a while. It's OK. I know you'll manage somehow.

I will be driving Saturday to Washington, D.C., where I will attend and cover the Washington Redskins' home opener Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Looking forward to seeing Robert Griffin III's home debut in front of the fans who've all already fallen in love from a distance. Should be fun.

I will of course also be tracking the Dallas Cowboys' game against Greg "Don't Kneel On Me" Schiano's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the Cardinals in Arizona. And I'll have plenty of thoughts on both of those, as usual, overnight Sunday and into Monday. But I wanted to let you guys know my travel plans, because I know how much you care. Means a lot to me, it really does.

Enjoy your weekends.
