Philadelphia Daily News beat man Les Bowen is taking a look back at the Eagles' 13-9 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. He said some familiar themes emerged during the loss, including a ton of downfield attempts and no appreciable running game. Bowen comes close to saying that coach Andy Reid panicked -- without using those exact words.
It was an awful day for a team that's alleged to have so many offensive weapons. Reid didn't have any answers Monday regarding his abandonment of the running game, but then, that's been a longtime issue in his offense. And where was Michael Vick? Well, Reid said he didn't really like how the Wildcat formation set up against the Raiders. Hmmm.
