IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones will be inducted into the National Football Foundation’s Leadership Hall of Fame tonight at the Omni Dallas.
Created in May, Jones will be the charter member of the NFF Leadership Hall of Fame.
The Hall recognizes individuals, “who have ascended to the highest levels of success and exhibited critical leadership qualities that transcend ordinary enterprises. Jones played on a national championship team at Arkansas, has been the Cowboys owner and general manager since 1989 with three Super Bowl victories, and oversaw the construction of AT&T Stadium, the Cowboys’ $1.2 billion home.
Jones’ accomplishments will be on display at an exhibit at the new College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, which is scheduled to open in 2014.
