Practice report: Williams, Martin on field

IRVING, Texas – Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams and right guard Zack Martin were taking part in drills during the portion of Friday’s practice open to the media.

Williams did not practice on Thursday because of a bruised back suffered after he fell in Wednesday’s practice. Martin was limited in Thursday’s practice because of a sore foot.

Neither player is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Coach Jason Garrett said the Cowboys would look at Cole Beasley, Dwayne Harris and Devin Street as starters opposite Dez Bryant if Williams suffers a setback.

“Sometimes you get into many different personnel groups to absorb an injury like that,” Garrett said.

The Cowboys have Mackenzy Bernadeau in reserve should Martin not play.
