It's never too early to start discussing playoff scenarios. If the league suddenly decided to cut the regular-season off today, which is not currently in the plans, the Eagles would be the No. 3 seed in the NFC and the Cowboys would be No. 6.
The Giants are at No. 7, but they have an easier schedule than the Cowboys the rest of the way and they own the tiebreaker with Dallas by virtue of their season sweep. The Cardinals and Packers are the Nos. 4 and 5 seeds. And with games left against the Giants and Cowboys, the Redskins are poised to play the spoiler role.
