Reid: Westbrook is 'ready to roll'

Eagles coach Andy Reid announced Wednesday that running back Brian Westbrook is "ready to roll" for the Broncos game this Sunday. Westbrook suffered his second concussion in three weeks Nov. 15 against the Chargers and his status for the rest of the season had been in doubt.

"Unless there's a setback, I think that's what he's counting on, the doctors and everybody else," Reid said of Westbrook.

The coach also indicated that he would ease Westbrook back into the lineup, using him along with LeSean McCoy and Leonard Weaver. The Eagles have won five consecutive games without Westbrook in the lineup, so Reid has to walk the fine line between using Westbrook and not disrupting the offense.

In other news, Michael Vick is the Eagles' recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, which is voted on by players. The award goes to players who have exemplified sportsmanship and courage.

"I still have a lot of work to do," Vick said Wednesday. "Having my teammates vote me this award shows I'm doing the right thing."
