Drama continues at Valley Ranch

A day after suggesting that the latest drama at Valley Ranch was a media-inspired production, coach Wade Phillips called everyone together Friday and encouraged them not to talk about anything except Sunday's Giants game. Phillips, who had taken a Sgt. Schultz -- "I known NOTHING" -- approach to the issue Thursday, also asked his players to keep their issues in-house from now on.

Well, so much for that. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, T.O. and tight end Jason Witten engaged in a verbal altercation before the media arrived in the locker room Friday. T.O. had been upset that Tony Romo and Jason Witten were allegedly having private sessions to draw up special plays for each other, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

When asked whether he was indeed jealous of Romo and Witten's relationship, T.O. said, "What do I have to be jealous of? Look at me, I'm handsome as hell. Anything that goes on, I am going to be the scapegoat. I'm trying to figure out how I make the headlines and I don't even say anything."

Just so we have this straight, T.O. is not jealous of either Romo or Witten, mainly based on his good looks. Who knows where this thing will end up, but a win over the Giants on Sunday would make a lot of it go away.
