There were no surprises among the tender offers Chicago officially extended Thursday to its restricted free agents.
Defensive end Mark Anderson, safety Josh Bullocks, safety Danieal Manning, linebacker Nick Roach, linebacker Jamar Williams were all extended tenders that will give the Bears a right to match any offer those players receive elsewhere. The Bears would get draft pick compensation if they allow the player to leave.
According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the compensation would break down this way:
Anderson: second-round pick
Bullocks: Original tender (3rd)
Manning: Original tender
Roach: second-round pick
Williams: fourth-round pick
Teams have until Thursday afternoon to formalize their tender offers.
