And the Packers' punter is ...

Yes! The Green Bay Packers finally have a punter.

The Packers signed Jeremy Kapinos late Wednesday afternoon after conducting a series of tryouts over the past two days. Kapinos replaces Derrick Frost, who was released Monday after an inconsistent 12-game stint.

Kapinos, a former All-American at Penn State, punted in one game as a rookie last season for the New York Jets, averaging 41.8 yards on five punts.

For continuity purposes, the Packers have made backup quarterback Matt Flynn the primary holder for placekicker Mason Crosby.
