Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand, arrested Friday night on suspicion of drunken driving, registered a .20 and a .21 on two breath tests more than an hour after officers first pulled him over.
Those readings are part of a police report made public Monday and published by the Detroit Free Press. We'll be careful here not to pass judgment other than to note the legal limit for drunken driving in Michigan is 0.08.
Lewand issued a statement Saturday apologizing for the incident. Lions owner William Clay Ford issued a statement of full support.
