And then there were two.
The Minnesota Vikings' contract agreement with rookie running back Toby Gerhart, which according to the Star Tribune was finalized Friday afternoon, leaves the Detroit Lions' pair of first-round picks as the only unsigned rookies in the division.
The Lions are working to sign defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and running back Jahvid Best. Coach Jim Schwartz told reportersFriday that he "wouldn't anticipate" Best's negotiations taking much longer. Suh, on the other hand, is almost certainly waiting for the St. Louis Rams to sign No. 1 overall pick Sam Bradford.
"I think the biggest domino in this draft is obviously Sam Bradford at No. 1," Schwartz said. "Then once that domino falls, all of a sudden the other ones will fall pretty quickly in place, because you'll establish a little bit of a structure."
