GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Just got back from the Green Bay Packers' first full-pads practice of training camp. You'll see a full report in a Camp Confidential that will appear Tuesday on ESPN.com.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy has scheduled five days of two-a-day practices this summer. In each case, the first practice starts at 8:45 a.m. and the second at 6:30 p.m. By spacing out the practices, McCarthy is hoping to give players extra time to review film before getting back on the field.
The two-a-day practices are spaced out by at least one day. In those instances, the Packers practice once, at 2 p.m. They will not practice at all this Thursday or next Monday (Aug. 4).
A few other Packers notes:
Defensive tackle Justin Harrell, the 2007 first-round draft choice, had a setback while recovering from a back injury and might need additional surgery. If so, he probably will miss the season.
Wide receiver Shaun Bodiford (back) was placed on injured reserve and will miss the season.
