A few weeks after the 2008 inception of the ESPN.com Blog Network, we were assigned to pick the best intradivision rivalry since divisional realignment. I chose the one between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers, knowing it had been feisty in recent years and judging the Packers-Chicago Bears rivalry to have taken a back seat.
I heard from one or two (million) Bears fans on that topic. Many of you never forgave me, but somehow we've pushed on. Regardless, we're getting a pretty good taste now of what a Bears-Packers week is like when both teams are hot.
It's been a while since we've been in this situation. So let's do something different here Friday morning and throw out a little trivia. When is the last time the Bears and Packers were both undefeated heading into their first matchup of the season? And when is the last time that happened in Week 3?
I'll post the answer, which I painstakingly researched only to find it minutes later in the Packers' always-helpful media notes, a bit later.
You have one hour.
