FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was just taken into the locker room on a cart after taking a brutal hit to the chin here in the fourth quarter. Backup Tarvaris Jackson has replaced Favre, who absorbed the hit from defensive lineman Myron Pryor.
Favre's chin strap was bloodied and he appeared to be weak-legged from the hit. A Vikings team doctor was holding Favre's jaw carefully as the cart sped off the field.
The Vikings announced he had a laceration and his return is questionable. We'll see.
