The lockout, the chaos of free agency and new training camp scheduling rules have all conspired to make our CampTour'11 a bit tricky to plan out.
But after spending three days in Green Bay, my next stop will be Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I'll spend the next three days watching the Minnesota Vikings. As it so happens, I'll be there in time to gauge the fallout from Tuesday's decision to release left tackle Bryant McKinnie. And unless we hear differently from the NFL, I'll also be on hand to see quarterback Donovan McNabb take his first practice snaps Thursday. My formal Camp Confidential will post within a few days of my departure.
That will put me halfway to our annual goal of spending three days in every NFC North training camp. I'm trying to find a relatively efficient way to visit both the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions before we get deep into the preseason, and I'll keep you updated on all that.
Back with you in a few hours.
