In a Thursday appearance on ESPN's Radio, Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews said training camp has been "more serious" with "less joking around" than in previous years. He also provided this assessment of the Packers' outlook:
"We've got something special going on here. We've got a group of young individuals who understand what we want. [We have a] quarterback who has his head on straight, a defense that's just been playing lights out and playmakers all over the board. So we have all that talent to do it again. Now it's just about getting back on that horse and taking it back to Indianapolis [site of Super Bowl XLVI] and where we want to be."
