APB: Fan blogs

Posted by ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert
I have a request, and it's only partially designed to transfer my workload to you.

Back in the day, the only way sportswriters knew what readers thought was if we someone sent a snail mail letter to our office mail slots -- which we dutifully checked at least twice a year. Then came e-mail, and now we have mailbags. These days, there is another avenue: Fan blogs.

I'd like to start incorporating the best takes from NFC North fan blogs, and not just because many of you think and write far better than me. I'm thinking that as the regular season begins, we'll be able to arrange some pretty lively "debate" among fans from this division.

Here's the problem: I'm just starting to discover some of the NFC North's more highly-trafficked fan blogs and I don't want to miss any of the good ones. What I need from you is to click on the "Reader Mailbag" link on the top right side of this blog and send me the URLs of fan blogs you like (or write). Keep in mind I'm not going to quote, link to or even mention blogs that contain profanity or even mildly libelous content or anything that is not safe for work viewing.

Thanks for your help. If all goes well, we'll have a regular fan blog feature up and running by the time the regular season begins.
