Forgettable start for Bears defense

You Chicago Bears fans not watching Thursday night's nationally-televised preseason game might be surprised by this: The San Francisco 49ers had rolled up 20 points and 204 offensive yards with 11 minutes, 17 seconds remaining in the SECOND QUARTER.

We've had so much discussion about the Bears' quarterback situation that we probably haven't spent much time on their defense. It's usually not wise to read too much into preseason games, but getting steamrolled by the 49ers probably isn't anyone's idea of a good time.

Just thought we'd jump in with that comment. We'll bring you more information later. For now, back to the game.
