Black and Blue all over: Rodgers' 'fake' answer

I hope some of you have gotten a chance to check out ESPN Milwaukee, which has a full-time Packers beat writer in Jason Wilde. Much like ESPN Chicago’s Jeff Dickerson, Jason is at Green Bay practice every day and compiles a daily blog here.

Every Tuesday, Jason brings you an interview with a prominent Packers player to discuss life on the field. Here’s last week’s post with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and here’s Tuesday’s edition with linebacker A.J. Hawk. Given the amount of media typically around an NFL team, I know from experience that this type of interview is hard to get.

Rodgers and Hawk are close friends, and Hawk actually took playful umbrage with one of Rodgers’ answers from the week before.

Rodgers: “My best quality is also a quality that gets me in trouble sometimes, and that’s loyalty. I’m a very loyal person. I’m loyal to my friends, my family, but at the same time, because of that loyalty, sometimes people take advantage of my trust.”

That answer apparently made Hawk laugh.

Hawk: “I loved A-Rod’s answer to that one question about how ‘my best can also be my worst quality.’ It was so fake. That’s like going into a job interview and saying, ‘I work too hard.’ That’s not even a real answer.”

Again, those interviews are posted every Tuesday at ESPN Milwaukee. Now, let’s take our full spin around the division:
