NFL Live: Bears changes in pass protection

Seven-step drops combined with five-man protection schemes was a hallmark of the Mike Martz offense, one that set records in St. Louis with a strong offensive line, but had trouble protecting quarterback Jay Cutler in Chicago. I can't guarantee that new Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice will never use a seven-step drop, but it's reasonable to expect the Bears will devote more players to pass protection when and if they do. In the video, ESPN's NFL Live crew explains how precarious that combination can be.
