It's Wednesday, but feels like a Friday here in the NFC North, so I guess now is as good of a time as any to hash through our plans for Week 2.
As you probably guessed, I'm on my way (back) to Green Bay and will be in place at Lambeau Field for Thursday night's matchup between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. We'll have full coverage on the blog all day Thursday and into the wee hours of Friday morning, and then at some point I'll return to blog headquarters for a quick laundry exchange and battery recharge.
Why so quick? This week brings our first double-header of the 2012 season. My credential is secured for the NFC North's other nationally televised game of the week: the Detroit Lions' date Sunday night at the San Francisco 49ers. By the time I return Monday, I'll have seen three of our four teams in the first two weeks of the season. I also project some uncertainty about the city I'm in at that point, but if that's my worst problem, I'm doing OK.
Back with you Thursday from somewhere in Wisconsin.
