Nate Burleson, Amari Spievey depart

CHICAGO -- The Detroit Lions are missing two starters as they struggle to get back into this game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Receiver Nate Burleson was taken to the locker room after injuring his right knee early in the third quarter. And safety Amari Spievey had tests for a concussion before being carted to the locker room himself. Symptoms from Spievey's last concussion, which occurred in the 2011 NFC wild-card playoffs, didn't resolve until the middle of the spring.

Erik Coleman has replaced Spievey in the lineup. Burleson has been replaced by rookie Ryan Broyles, who made his first NFL catch. It's still 13-0 as the fourth quarter begins.
