Packers OK today without Jordy Nelson

Good morning. As I think I've mentioned once or twice recently, we covered three games in five days last week. So in the name of resource preservation -- in every sense of the term -- we'll be monitoring Sunday's news and action from NFC North blog headquarters.

First up: To answer a fantasy question I've already been hammered with Sunday morning, Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson appears unlikely to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Nelson will participate in pregame warm-ups to test out the injury, but his prospects don't appear great at the moment.

I guess I would be more worried about this development if the Jaguars posed a bigger threat. The Packers' offense should be in decent hands with James Jones and Randall Cobb as the top two receivers, presumably with veteran Donald Driver in three-receiver sets. The Packers have also been anxious to see rookie Jarrett Boykin in action.

A link to the full list of the NFL's inactive players should appear on the blog around 11:30 a.m. ET.
