Packers sign most of draft class

We noted earlier that the Detroit Lions have signed their 2013 draft class and that the Chicago Bears are one contract away from doing the same. Friday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers announced agreements with nine of their 11 draft choices.

The only unsigned Packers draft choices are first-round defensive end Datone Jones and second-round running back Eddie Lacy. (The Bears' unsigned pick is first-round guard Kyle Long.)

Again, there really is no rush to get these deals done before training camp, and some teams -- including the Minnesota Vikings -- tend to take negotiations further into the summer. But that's where we stand here on May 10.
