Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall is one of a big handful of NFC North veterans who have sat out most organized team activities (OTAs) this spring because of injuries or surgery rehabilitation. In Marshall's case, arthroscopic hip surgery in January necessitated a slow return to the field.
Marshall, however, tweeted Tuesday morning that he has been cleared to resume practicing as the Bears continue OTAs:
Just got cleared to get back out there with my teammates. #Glory. Only right to get in the zone by blasting @unclereeceUntil I pass out.

By my count, Marshall has missed seven OTAs and three days of voluntary veteran minicamp. Presumably, he will participate in the final three days of OTAs this week as well next week's mandatory minicamp.
