We're Black and Blue All Over:
From what I could tell during Tuesday's SportsNation chat, and via Twitter and the mailbag, many of you regulars received notes this week announcing a significant change to log-in procedures for commenting on posts.
I did look into it, as you asked, and it appears the note was genuine. Beginning July 17, you will need a Facebook account to log in and make comments on new posts. I know many of you don't have Facebook accounts and/or don't want to use them for this purpose. I hear you, and all I can tell you is that this will be the policy moving forward, one that is not dissimilar to many other media and social web sites.
Here is a FAQ link if you're interested in the particulars.

The 2013 Green Bay Packers team will have at least one thing in common with the group that won the Super Bowl in 2010: It will have a number of key veterans in contract years. Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel explains.
Weston Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press-Gazette profiles Giorgio Tavecchio, the place-kicker the Packers brought in to compete with Mason Crosby.
