All NFC North draft picks under contract

Judging by your tweets, a few of you were worried that the Minnesota Vikings hadn't officially signed their trio of first-round draft picks when the sun rose Thursday morning -- the date that rookies and veterans are scheduled to report to training camp.

As it turned out, there was no reason for concern. All three players officially signed their contracts Thursday morning, suggesting most of the negotiations were complete Wednesday or earlier, and they will report on time to Minnesota State University, Mankato.

For those keeping track, the signings occurred in this order: Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, receiver Cordarrelle Patterson and cornerback Xavier Rhodes.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers announced Wednesday's agreement with first-round pick Datone Jones, meaning that the NFC North will have no rookie holdouts this summer in training camp. Hooray!
