Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson announced this afternoon on Twitter that he's launched a new app, giving fitness enthusiasts a chance to train with some of the workouts that helped propel Peterson to NFL MVP honors.
The app offers workout routines "developed with Adrian and his personal trainer James Cooper to build strength and speed the All Day way." It begins with a four-week phase of 12 different workouts, and adds additional phases as you get further into the program. It also has streaming video of Peterson working out, ostensibly to either motivate you or crush your spirit.
From what Peterson has said about his workout routines on his way back from a torn ACL, this could be a lot of fun for those of you looking for a hardcore workout program. For just $2.99, though, we're betting that Peterson's voracious appetite for training and his freakish athletic ability are not included.
