MINNEAPOLIS -- The Arizona Cardinals just opened the second half with their second special-teams touchdown of the game, giving them a 21-10 lead at the still-silent Metrodome just 12 seconds into the half.
Cornerback Michael Adams picked up a Percy Harvin fumble on the opening kickoff and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown. Replays offered no angle to overturn the call, and Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress’ ensuing challenge failed.
At the risk of repeating myself, I’ll note one more time that it’s been a while since I’ve heard the Metrodome this quiet. Is this Week 17 or Week 9?
