ChatWrap: 'Either-or' mania

Thanks to everyone who joined in on Tuesday's SportsNation chat, especially those of you who participated in an impromptu game of "either-or." I've provided a sample below. I can see five or six Have at Its in there. Too bad the lockout appears to be nearing an end.

Chad (Guam)

Which player returning from injury has a bigger impact this year: Morgan Burnett or Mike Neal?

Kevin Seifert (2:03 PM)

Mike Neal has a better chance because it doesn't look like the Packers will bring back Cullen Jenkins. Burnett could face a stiffer path to the starting lineup. I think the Packers are envisioning Neal as a starter.

Cole Brister (Anchorage, Alaska)

Who do you think will be the Vikings starting quarterback, [Christian] Ponder or [Joe] Webb?

Kevin Seifert (2:08 PM)

If it's a choice between those two, I would be stunned if it weren't Ponder.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

Who is the more impressive athlete -- Megatron or All Day?

Kevin Seifert (2:28 PM)

Interesting. I'm not sure how the quantify that. But I think I'll say Calvin Johnson. What he does defies physical explanation sometimes. You just don't expect someone that big to be able to play that position that way. It's almost like Magic Johnson playing point guard at 6-9. What Adrian Peterson does is simply better than everyone else, but he isn't the physical exception that everyone else is.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

Kevin, to you who is the better player -- Devin Hester or DeSean Jackson?

Kevin Seifert (2:30 PM)

Another interesting comparison. I think I would take Hester because he is the very best returner in the history of the NFL, including Jackson. I think we can agree that Jackson is the better receiver, but he is nowhere close to as good of a receiver as Hester is a returner, if that makes sense.

Sam (Wisconsin)

Who would win in a fight between Thor and Clay Matthews III? (no hammers allowed).

Kevin Seifert (2:30 PM)

What side is Ditka on? Wait, that joke went out of style about 15 years ago, right? I'll go with Thor because he comes from the land of make-believe and therefore doesn't have to play the rules of mere humans.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

Who do you expect bigger things from next year: James Starks or Jahvid Best?

Kevin Seifert (2:36 PM)

I like the either or questions we're getting today. Both are guys that will share the role (at best!) if things go the way their coaches want them to. But I'll say Best because he's a bigger-play threat.

Bob (SSP)

Aaron Rodgers right now at age 27, or Brett Favre age 27. Choose.

Kevin Seifert (2:54 PM)

Whooooooooooooooooa. Whooooooooooooooooa. Whooooooooooooa. I'm speechless ... Ok, let me gather myself. The biggest argument for either would be that we already know Favre would have 14 more mostly productive years ahead of him. Can we count on that for Rodgers? Not sure. I'll ... take ... Favre.

Jason (S. Carolina)

Golden Girls, or Magnum P.I.?

Kevin Seifert (2:57 PM)

I'm a big Betty White fan.
