Falcons make pair of moves

The Falcons just announced a couple of transactions.

They have signed seventh-round draft pick Shann Schillinger. A safety out of Montana, Schillinger will get a chance to make the team as a backup safety and special-teams player. The Falcons also already have signed third-round pick Corey Peters.

The Falcons also said they have released quarterback Eric Ward. An Atlanta native, Ward played at Richmond and was signed as an undrafted free agent.
