Falcons, Packers by the numbers

ATLANTA -- With a little help from ESPN Stats & Information, let's take a look ahead to Sunday's game between the Falcons and Green Bay Packers.

The game is in the Georgia Dome and that's significant. Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan has won 14 consecutive home games and is 18-1 in the Georgia Dome during his career. Ryan also has won 13 straight home games against NFC teams. Ryan's 14 consecutive home wins are second among active quarterbacks. Tom Brady leads with 25 straight home victories. No one else is even close to Brady and Ryan. Baltimore's Joe Flacco is No. 3 with seven straight home wins.

Ryan and Green Bay backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers both became full-time starters in 2008. Both have been very good quarterbacks and the area where they commonly excel is when they're passing between the hashmarks.

Since 2008, Rodgers has completed 68.7 percent of his passes in those situations for 9.5 yards per attempt with 11 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 102.2 passer rating.

In the same situations, Ryan has completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 8.5 yards per attempt with 12 touchdowns and three interceptions with a 111.7 passer rating.
