New Orleans WRs getting healthy

Here’s perhaps some of the most positive news we’ve heard out of the Saints this offseason.

Receivers Marques Colston and Robert Meachem are getting healthy. Both have been working out with teammates at Tulane University and on their own after having surgery.

Colston had microfracture surgery on his right knee. Colston had a similar procedure in 2009 and said he was back to 100 percent before training camp started. Colston said he’s ahead of his 2009 pace and has been able to do everything in the work at Tulane.

Meachem had surgery to repair an ankle issue he said has given him problems most of his life. Meachem also said he should be fine for the opening of training camp in late July or early August.
