Tampa Bay cornerback Eric Wright is back with the Buccaneers, but that doesn’t mean it’s certain he’ll play in the regular-season finale against Atlanta.
Coach Greg Schiano just told the media Wright is back with the team after finishing his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.
The Bucs struggled in the secondary during Wright’s absence. But Schiano said it remains to be seen if Wright will play Sunday.
“I can’t tell you right now without getting on the field and seeing where he is and formulating a plan,’’ Schiano said. “I don’t think conditioning will be the issue, but being in football shape (will be).’’
