There’s a bit of disappointing news out of Tampa Bay on Monday, one day after probably the high point of the season for the Buccaneers.
StroughterRookie receiver/return man Sammie Stroughter is out for the final two games after suffering a broken foot. Stroughter, a seventh-round draft pick, has been one of the few true bright spots for the Bucs this season.
The only bright side to this is that the foot should heal up well before the team begins its offseason program. Stroughter has secured a spot on next year’s roster and in the team’s long-term plans, which is more than can be said for starting receivers Antonio Bryant and Michael Clayton.
