Carolina's D-line takes a hit

The Panthers could be looking for depth at defensive tackle after Ian Scott suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury Wednesday morning.
Scott, who sat out the 2007 season, had been counted on to join Darwin Walker as the top backups behind Damione Lewis and Maake Kemoeatu. Lewis, Kemoeatu and Walker all sat out this morning's practice with minor injuries and there's not much experience behind them. They're expected to return soon. There's no definite word on the severity of Scott's injuries, but he's going through medical tests right now.
