The Falcons announced this afternoon they will offer an early-renewal plan that could provide fans with discounts of up to 29 percent off planned season-ticket prices for 2009. According to team president Rich McKay, about 43,000 seats will remain at their 2008 price or decrease if fans use the early-renewal option. McKay said about 19,000 seats, primarily in the lower-level prime areas will increase next season. The Falcons did not increase ticket prices in 2008 and reduced prices for certain sections.
Season-ticket holders will begin receiving renewal packages this week and the deadline to take advantage of the early renewal is Dec. 30. Those renewing early will be able to use a flexible payment plan that features monthly payments spread out over six months.
