Panthers 'flex' their muscle into better time slot

The NFL's flexible scheduling policy has hit the NFC South in a positive way, once again.

The Dec. 14 game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium has been shifted from 1 p.m. ET to 4:15 p.m. That's because the matchup is an attractive one and the NFL has decided it deserves exposure to a bigger audience in a better time slot.

The Panthers and Falcons already had their game last Sunday moved from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
