The 2008 San Francisco 49ers were not getting outplayed, team president Jed York stressed when Mike Singletary took over as coach.
"I think we are getting out-intensitied," York said. "I don't think that's a word, but I'm going to use it anyway. That's what we need, and that's what Mike Singletary is going to bring."
